Gary, partidario de SMYAL desde hace mucho tiempo, anteriormente se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como presidente del brunch de oto\u00f1o. \u00a1Comparti\u00f3 con nosotros algunos de sus recuerdos favoritos de Brunches pasados, as\u00ed como una mirada al interior de su reciente boda en la Toscana!<\/div>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo te involucraste con SMYAL?<\/h4>\n

Conoc\u00ed SMYAL y el buen trabajo de la organizaci\u00f3n hace varios a\u00f1os, perot Me involucr\u00e9 con SMYAL hace cinco a\u00f1os.<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s de un amigo que est\u00e1 en la junta directiva.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 lo inspir\u00f3 a convertirse en un donante importante?<\/h4>\n

Creo que es una responsabilidad importante para m\u00ed como miembro de la comunidad LGBTQ contribuir al \u00e9xito de SMYAL.<\/strong>, y profesionalmente he tenido la suerte de contar con los medios para hacerlo.<\/p>\n

\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 es importante para usted contribuir a SMYAL?<\/h4>\n
Mientras crec\u00eda, nunca tuve nada como SMYAL a quien recurrir como alguien que luchaba con mi propia identidad sexual. No quiero que nadie vuelva a pasar por la experiencia que tuve cuando era joven gay, durante la cual sufr\u00ed ataques de ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n y soledad. SMYAL crea una comunidad para aquellos que experimentan sentimientos similares y me alegra saber que cada vez m\u00e1s j\u00f3venes LGBTQ tienen un recurso como SMYAL para ayudarlos a sentir que pertenecen a una comunidad saludable.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Como expresidenta del Brunch de Oto\u00f1o, \u00bfqu\u00e9 hace que este evento sea tan especial y por qu\u00e9 es importante para nuestra comunidad?<\/h4>\n

Es el evento de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos m\u00e1s grande del a\u00f1o para SMYAL, por lo que es importante que todos se unan en torno a SMYAL<\/strong> para dar lo que puedan dar a una gran causa y un gran evento.<\/p>\n

\u00bfTiene alg\u00fan recuerdo favorito de los brunch de oto\u00f1o?<\/h4>\n

\u00a1Me encantaron todos los brunch de oto\u00f1o a los que asist\u00ed! Es una celebraci\u00f3n maravillosa de todo el gran trabajo que realiza SMYAL durante todo el a\u00f1o. En particular, me encanta escuchar a los j\u00f3venes que hablan en el evento y comparten sus experiencias. \u00a1Es muy empoderador!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a1Felicitaciones por su reciente boda! \u00bfPuedes compartir con nosotros un poco sobre tu d\u00eda especial?<\/h4>\n

Como tantas parejas, tuvimos que retrasar nuestra boda debido al COVID. Elegimos casarnos en la Toscana y hasta el \u00faltimo momento no est\u00e1bamos seguros de si \u00edbamos a poder lograrlo, \u00a1pero al final lo logramos!<\/strong> Tuvimos 50 amigos y familiares que se unieron a nosotros all\u00ed. \u00a1Todos llegaron sanos y salvos a la Toscana y el d\u00eda fue absolutamente perfecto!<\/p>\n
