SMYAL trabaja para garantizar que los j\u00f3venes LGBTQ en el \u00e1rea metropolitana de DC tengan espacios seguros para ser ellos mismos. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uno de estos espacios seguros es nuestro Centro Juvenil ubicado en Capitol Hill en Washington, DC. Este centro alberga una variedad de programas para j\u00f3venes que incluyen apoyo semanal, grupos de discusi\u00f3n, eventos recreativos y de defensa y proyectos de servicio comunitario. Nuestro personal y voluntarios ofrecen a los j\u00f3venes el apoyo que necesitan para tomar decisiones informadas sobre su salud, actividad sexual, abuso de drogas y alcohol, manejo de la ira y prevenci\u00f3n de la violencia.
