style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Inclusion Staff:<\/strong> Each session we contract an Inclusion Lead, whose sole job at camp is to ensure that all campers have access to the day\u2019s activities. They work with program leaders and campers to find the best ways to adapt and accommodate campers of all abilities.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Pre-Camp Inclusion Meetings:<\/strong> Inclusion staff offer a pre-camp video call with families who would like to discuss their camper\u2019s individual needs and create a plan for success at Camp Free2Be.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mobility Access:<\/strong> Our primary entrance has an ADA accessible ramp. There is an elevator with direct access to our programming space.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> We go outside to a field for one hour in the afternoon. We always have an indoor option available as well.\u00a0<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nut-free space<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASL interpretation during session 1<\/span><\/li><\/ul><h4>\u00a0<\/h4><h4 class=\"p1\"><strong>How is SMYAL helping low-income families access camp?<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Camp registration is 100% free!<\/strong> This includes all five days of activities, snacks, and a camp t-shirt. (Note: We do not have the capacity to serve lunch at Camp Free2Be, so campers should pack a lunch)<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Junior Counselors are all volunteers, for any counselors who able to support both sessions, we offer a stipend of $150<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Access Fund:<\/strong> Although camp is free to attend, we know that there are outside costs associated with getting to and participating in camp. To help make camp possible for everyone, we have an Access Fund available to support campers and counselors who otherwise would be unable to participate in Camp Free2Be. Funds will be granted first-come-first-serve to those who complete their Permission Forms.
