Este programa \u00fanico utiliza el teatro y las artes esc\u00e9nicas para detallar las vidas, los desaf\u00edos y los viajes de LGBTQAI+ de color en el \u00e1rea metropolitana de DC. Exploramos en profundidad temas como el VIH\/SIDA, la sexualidad, el racismo, la transfobia, el abuso, la salud mental y el abuso de sustancias. Luego, los participantes desarrollan con valent\u00eda una producci\u00f3n de teatro musical que aborda estos temas y que refleja directamente sus experiencias.

The program, formerly known as Brother 2 Brother, began in 2014 in collaboration with Developing and Empowering New Images of Men (DENIM), the youth center of Us Helping Us, People Into Living, Inc, an HIV care and prevention organization. The 2014 performance entitled #BehindTheMask was performed at the Anacostia Arts Center, with two sold-out performances. This program won the 2015 White House Champions of Change Award for LGBTQ+ Artists.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
