Estos son tiempos peligrosos para las personas que se identifican como LGBTQ. Veintitr\u00e9s estados han promulgado proyectos de ley anti-LGBTQ en lo que va de 2022. Para las personas que se identifican como queer y trans, y especialmente para los ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes, la discriminaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 poniendo en marcha un arco de intolerancia que puede causar depresi\u00f3n, ansiedad y aislamiento de sus familias, compa\u00f1eros de escuela y de la sociedad en general. Los j\u00f3venes LGBTQ tienen 4 veces m\u00e1s probabilidades de quedarse sin hogar e intentar suicidarse que sus pares no LGBTQ, y son atacados y castigados en el sistema legal penal debido a su identidad y orientaci\u00f3n sexual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Periodista\/creador de medios ganador de premios Emmy y Peabody y activista LGBTQ, Imara Jones<\/strong>, preparar\u00e1 el escenario para una mesa redonda, Libertad para ser queer. <\/strong><\/em>El Coro Resistance Revival y el pianista de jazz Matthew Whitaker actuar\u00e1n y nos ayudar\u00e1n a celebrar la apertura, la aceptaci\u00f3n y la tolerancia.
