Director of Youth Development & Community Engagement
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Athen previously served as the Program Director for various afterschool programs across New York City.
As a Program Director Athen managed recruitment, program development, and family & community engagement. Receiving her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Music Studies Athen hopes to use the arts to foster critical thinking and self-discovery through creativity.
Athen’s work in youth development has been supported by their passion for youth and the performing arts.
