DESCRIPTION:Are you between the ages of 13-24 and interested in public health\, sex education\, and LGBTQ issues? \nSMYAL is now accepting applications for our newest cohort of Peer Health Fellows! \nFellows will be working to find out how LGBTQ+ youth (13-24)\, especially those of color\, struggle to access health-related services and how to break down those barriers that create the inaccessibility to those services. The fellowship will last over the course of 6 months and during that time fellows will give workshops to service providers\, conduct conversations with their peers\, and refer youth to services. This discussion will take place on qchat– a chat platform for queer youth ages 13-19. \n  \nThursday Envisioning Futures: Art Making Night \n5:00-7:00 pm EST- February 24th is GSA Day for Racial Justice– a day to encourage conversations about the intersection of queer justice and racial justice! This year’s theme is imagining futures beyond oppression. Join us to make art on this topic. All youth ages 13-24 are welcome\, whether or not you are part of a GSA.
