Becas SMYAL

SMYAL’s scholarships recognize outstanding and unapologetic LGBTQ+ student leaders who have demonstrated personal growth and a commitment to creating change in their school or community.

Abriendo camino

Breaking Ground is a summer program that utilizes the theatre and performing arts to detail the lives, challenges and journeys of LGBTQ+ youth of color in the DC Metro area.

Through acting, singing, and dance workshops, youth develop a full length musical production based on their real life stories.

Recursos Para Jóvenes

In addition to hosting community-building programs, SMYAL provides housing support for LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness y affirming mental health counseling.
