Nashae is one of SMYAL’s therapists and finds great joy in providing gender-affirming therapeutic care to the DC area. Born and raised in PG County Maryland, Nashae received her BA in Psychology from NC Central University and later gained her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at NC A&T State University. Nashae is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor in the District of Columbia as well as a National Certified Counselor.
Nashae joins SMYAL with five years of experience providing therapy to children, adults, couples, and families alike. She is genuinely concerned with clients’ well-being and is dedicated to empowering and supporting youth, especially Black and Brown youth in the LGBTQ community. When Nashae is not working, she loves exploring DC’s live music venues and trying new restaurants!
