Julie Davis (she/her) is a recent graduate of the George Washington Carver Center for Arts & Technology, where she explored leadership through art. As the Vice President of the National Art Honors Society, served as a role model, especially for the queer members of the society. She supported her fellow members by helping their work receive more exposure while encouraging them to continue creating art. Julie’s aim is to push LGBTQ+ stories further into the spotlight to help foster acceptance, inclusivity, and representation. Julie is attending Ringling College of Art and Design this fall in the Computer Animation program. Julie is the 2023 recipient of Sophie’s Live Out Loud Award.
