Become a sponsor of a SMYAL event
SMYAL events provide a wonderful opportunity for your company to showcase its support of LGBTQ youth and the LGBTQ community. Our premiere event of the year, Fall Brunch, draws more than 750 dedicated supporters and donors while offering a range of sponsorship and recognition opportunities. Other SMYAL events throughout the year also offer unique sponsorship opportunities for lawyers, young donors, and major donors. Engage your employee resource group
Many pride or LGBTQ employee resource groups engage with SMYAL throughout the year. Engagements include organizing tables for our Fall Brunch fundraiser, promoting SMYAL fundraising events to their members and employees, holding fundraising events and happy hours in support of LGBTQ youth, and organizing volunteer opportunities for employee resource group members.
Volunteer at SMYAL
A great way for your company to engage with SMYAL is to host a volunteer day at our youth center. Employees can engage in fun and impactful activities that directly support LGBTQ youth. Does your company have a charitable matching opportunity? If so, we hope that you will consider donating to SMYAL through your corporation and have your contribution matched. Some companies even match up to three times what the employee donates and this can magnify your support of LGBTQ youth. Check with your human resources department to inquire if your company matches contributions and if SMYAL qualifies as a 501(c)(3) social service organization.
