The SMYAL LGBTQ+ Youth Leadership Awards reconocer a los líderes estudiantiles que han demostrado liderazgo extraordinario e impacto en su escuela o comunidades. Estas becas postsecundarias brindan una total de hasta $25,000 a 5-8 estudiantes por año in honor of their leadership as they continue their education. Individual scholarships of $5,000 each are paid directly to winners to help offset the cost of tuition, books, materials, housing, travel, and other expenses associated with school.
Since 2015, the YLAs have awarded $220,000 to 67 student leaders.
