Welcome to the 4th Cornhole For A Cause benefiting SMYAL! Last tournament we raised over $15,000 for SMYAL, bringing our 2018 total to over $28,000!!! We are happy to announce that this tournament, we will be partnering with Rogue Sports to bring this fundraiser to life.
Are you a cornhole pro? Are you happiest when you have a drink in one hand and a sack in the other? Do you enjoy supporting LGBTQ youth? If so, join Cornhole For A Cause and ROGUE Sports for a charity Cornhole Tournament benefitting SMYAL. Raffle for various prizes and gift cards will be drawn at the end of the day May 11,2019, with prizes to be added regularly until the day of the event. Payments for raffle accepted at the event via cash or Venmo. Last seasons raffle includes prizes from The Washington Capitals, Apple, Amazon, Hanks Oyster Bar, Corduroy, Lucky Buns, Nellies, Hawthorne and Exiles.
Registration. The fee for entry is $50 per team of 2 persons. Fee will include entry to tournament, 15 raffle tickets ($10 value each) for each player, 2 Drink Cards to Jrs for each player ($14 value each), a drink bracelet that will give you drink specials at both Jr‘s and at our official After Party. The event will be capped at 64 teams (2 players per team), and spots will be awarded on a first come/first serve basis, so secure your spot today! The deadline for registration is midnight on May 10, 2019.
Last Season, Cornhole for a Cause was able to raise almost $15,000, bringing our year total to over $28,000 and all of the money raised from the tournament will benefit SMYAL, a DC area nonprofit that supports and empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Through youth leadership, SMYAL creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to build self-confidence, develop critical life skills, and engage their peers and community through service and advocacy.
