Ario F. (they/she) is passionate about using their identity to bridge the education gap. As a bilingual Latino Student Ambassador in the YouthBuild program, Ario has not only thrived in their own education, but shared their story to encourage other young people to pursue their GEDs. Ario prioritizes setting an example for other youth in programs like the storytelling and empowerment performing arts program, Breaking Ground, and believes that education is a method of perpetuating kindness in the world by fighting ignorance. They will use this scholarship to pursue a degree in graphic design at UDC.
