Emily Pearson-Beck graduated from Washington-Lee where she was Co-President for her school’s GSA. Recently, she organized a letter campaign to allow middle school students to learn about sexuality. This campaign resulted in dialogue with administrators and Safe Space stickers were put on classroom doors. Emily will be attending William and Mary where she wants to study Global Studies and concentrate on Asian studies. She is also interested in gender studies and biology.
