Join SMYAL and our partners for a Q&A with Sally Rubin filmmaker of ‘Mama has a Mustache’, a short, quirky, fully animated documentary about gender and family, as seen through children’s eyes.
Driven completely by audio interviews of kids ages 5-10, the film uses these sound bites combined with clipart and mixed media to explore how children experience a world outside of the traditional gender binary.
Live Q&A is Thursday, March 3 at 8 ET pm. The film will be screened at the beginning of the event and you can also access the film anytime between Mar. 1 and Mar. 9. This event is open to the public; youth, parents, other adults, and supporters are welcome. Visit https://watch.showandtell.film/watch/mama_centerlink to register for access to the film and be sure to use the Q&A link to register for the live Q&A via Zoom on March 3.
