We hope that you will consider joining us for the 7th Annual Leading With Pride summit!
The event will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2018. This event will take place at Cardozo Education Campus, which is accessible via Metro (U Street/Cardozo/African American Civil War Memorial Station [Yellow & Green Lines]).
Leading With Pride is an annual event for LGBTQIA+ youth and their peer allies (ages 13 – 24), their caregivers, and GSA advisors. While we do provide resources and programming for adults (i.e., caregivers and GSA advisors), this event is intentionally youth-centered.
There will be a pre-conference offered this year for caregivers of elementary students and queer-identifying families. Doors will open 9:00 a.m. for these attendees, and pre-conference workshops will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 12:05 p.m.
Onsite registration and check-in for conference participants, their families or guests, and GSA advisors (or other educators who support LGBTQ+ youth) will begin run from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Additional information regarding the run of day will be shared on the event website.
As always, this event is 100% free of charge!
