SMYAL and VIDA are teaming up for an inaugural push-up challenge on December 14th! 100% of the net proceeds raised per push-up will be donated to SMYAL to support LGBTQ youth in the DMV area!
Our SMYAL celebrity contestant, Director of Youth Housing Jorge Membreño, will be throwing his hat into the ring! Support Jorge’s push-up prowess by making a pledge on his donation page.

The event will challenge participants to complete as many push-ups as they can in a one-hour time frame. Prior to the challenge, each push-up participant will collect monetary pledges that will be donated on a per push-up basis. For example, if Jill participates in the challenge and receives a pledge of $1 per push-up from Bill, should Jill complete 100 push-ups during the challenge, Bill will donate $100 to SMYAL.
