Jalen Tran (he/him) is a filmmaker in the making, his activism taking form in storytelling. A recent graduate from Randallsville High School, Jalen found a passion and form of leadership in communication, whether it’s as a senior member of the Multimedia Communication Magnet Program, through writing for Randallstown High School’s Literary Magazine, and even talking to his fellow members of his school’s Pride Club. He’s established himself as a leader in these roles, but especially as a youth service worker during the pandemic. Jalen has exemplified leadership through his understanding of adapting and growing with the world as it changes. Jalen will be attending the University of Maryland, College Park beginning in the Spring of 2024.
