Sara Berger (she/they) is a recent graduate of Kent Island High School, where they led the Gender Empowerment and Equity Club and were a member of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance. Sara is passionate about advocating for the physical and mental health of LGBTQ+ youth like them, and has built relationships with local organizations such as I Support The Girls, and dreams of making a difference through law and policymaking to combat homophobic and transphobic legislation. Sara will be attending Chatham University to study Political Science, with plans to study civil rights and environmental law.
