Youth Housing Case Manager

Sasha is a Youth Housing Case Manager at SMYAL. She is originally from New Jersey and came to DC for school over six years ago. She got her BA in Political Science from American University and her MSW from Howard University.
She comes to SMYAL after two years of working in youth housing programs in both a house monitor and case manager role. Sasha believes in the importance of creating an inclusive and open space and meeting clients where they are. In her free time. Sasha is excited to have landed at SMYAL to apply her skills toward making a difference for the area’s LGBTQ youth.
In her free time, Sasha loves spending time with her family and friends, trying new food places around DC, and binge-watching her favorite shows.
